The Authentic Jane Lead Manuscripts in electronic form that have been found here at PasstheWORD for many years, are word-for-word transcriptions that were done by anonymous volunteers, one keystroke at-a-time, working from xerographic copies of Jane Lead's authentic works — just as she, together with Francis Lee, had published them in the late 1600's and early 1700's.  The volunteer transcribers did NOT change words, modernize sentence structure, abridge the text, add their own words, break apart sentences, break apart paragraphs, add numbers to the paragraphs where there were none, add section marks where there were none, break the text into chapters, or otherwise modify the presentation or precious words that were revealed through the instrument of Jane Lead over 300 years ago.

As of the end of 2009, what can only be called "counterfeit" edited, modernized versions of many of Jane Lead's writings have appeared at janelead.org.  There is reason to believe that the producer of these edited versions has generated them by using pirated copies of PTW's copyrighted electronic files as her source.  This self-appointed editor of Jane Lead, who did not deal truthfully with PTW prior to and since the launch of her website, claims that she "scanned" her originals into electronic text but she has refused to provide the required proof that her cover story is not just a very elaborate fabrication.    More

"The Writings of this Author are full of surprizing Manifestations of Divine Knowledge, and are chiefly given forth for the Children of the Kingdom, as their Direction and Assistance in their Preparation-Work; on which account They are Recommended earnestly to Their constant and diligent Study above all others.  And all that would receive the Benefit of 'em, are advised to suspend their Censures, and pass over such things as at first sight they may not be able to receive; and go on, and draw together, and Compare the whole Scheme of her Writings, whereby I doubt not but there may be easily discerned the hand of God, and the Conduct of the Divine Wisdom therein."

Reader Alert:  As of 2010, a counterfeit, edited, modernized version of this work has again appeared at janelead.org.  The counterfeit has been re-named -"A Fountain of Gardens, Volume 1,(SDV)" .  The first appearance (of the early sections of the counterfeit) was in the Spring of 2009, with the Editor's promise to finish her entire SDV edition of the FOG, Volume 1 by the Summer of 2009; she did not keep her word; no additional sections were posted, and the first four "chapters" of the counterfeit disappeared from janelead.org as of July 15, 2009.  Now, the FOG Volume I (in the Serpent Destroyer's Version, has appeared, again, adding to the list of imposturous documents meant to confuse, distract and mislead. This time the text of FOG Volume One has been broken up into  twenty-seven (27) unique PDF documents with each title page displaying, at the top, the self-appointed editor's name printed at the same level and size, as that of the prophetess, Jane Lead!   In addition, the bottom of each individual page is name-branded at least twice.   Fair Warning !
   Further Background: PTW's investigator, who examined the original posting of the counterfeit in early 2009, gave this report. — "This first Journal of Jane Lead's FOG  is being radically modified.   The self-appointed Editor has broken it apart, added subtitles where there were none, removed dates, added paragraph numbers where there were none, changed JL's own section numbers and titles, added words and thoughts of her own, branded it, and purposely made it very difficult, if not impossible, for anyone to easily compare her adulterations, additions and modifications to what is actually contained in the very large and lengthy, authentic transcription of JL's original text, which is online at PTW.  However, it is interesting to uncover that the entire content of the Editor's derivative Chapters 1 through 4, end exactly at the same specific point in the text — as PTW's source e-copy of their 'File 1 (of 4) '  of the authentic version of JL's Fountain of Gardens, Volume One, which has been posted at PTW since 1999."

The Resurrection of Life: or The Royal Characteristics and Identifying Marks impressed on Those, Who with Christ are Resurrected  TOGETHER  WITH    An Appendix of Some Prophetic Revelations all from the known Authoress, JANE LEADE.  A Reverse-Translation from the old German back into English has been accomplished and is now on-line here at PasstheWORD.
    Jane Lead's last prophetic work might well be described as a Grand Final Summary of that which was brought from the Godhead through this instrument.   It is very significant that this last known published work of Jane Lead, which was written just before her death, has come into the light at such a late time in history for the benefit of those beloved Nazarite Brethren who were to come after her.  The text has effectively been well hidden, in a language other than English, for over 300 years.  Confirmation of much of what is missing from the modernized 21st century Christian gospel can be found among its pages.

A Short, Easy, and Comprehensive Method of Prayer:  
by Johannes Kelpius — (1673-1708):    A warm discourse on internal devotion, covering all manner of Inward Prayer especially the Way to Unceasing Prayer – its benefits and results.  This was written by the "Hermit of the Wissahickon", a little known Pennsylvania Mystic, whose celibate Brotherhood of forty like-minded Protestant Monks quietly influenced the spiritual course of early America.  Their special calling — the transplanting of the Mystical Way from Europe to America, — was supported by their contact and correspondence with Jane Lead and the Philadelphian Society.
